Sorboni Banerjee

Sorboni Banerjee is a Bengali-American author and Emmy Award-winning television news anchor and reporter in Tampa, after spending more than a decade as an anchor in Boston. She is a cofounder of the nonprofit teen reading and leadership festival, YA by the Bay, dedicated to inspiring teens to “be the author of your own life.” With a dad from a small Indian village and a mom from Maine, Sorboni’s experiences growing up biracial shape her stories. Fueled by coffee and conversation, she loves the beach, boating, and traveling the world with her husband and son. Other books by Sorboni include Borderline.
