Meredith Blevins

Meredith’s fantasy was to become a writer and run away with the Gypsies. Both came true. 

Seven of her books were published by Macmillan, and she’s very happy now to be working with Wolfpack. She has shepherded manuscripts to publication, been a ghostwriter for Rodale, and edited for three publishing houses. 

Eons ago, Meredith worked in a Quaker hospital as a creative arts therapist, wrote textbook articles, and became a financial columnist. Next, she wrote travel articles, winning the gold Magellan award, for best travel articles, five years running. 

With a push from her family and husband, writer Win Blevins, she made the switch from non-fiction to fiction. Her first novel, The Hummingbird Wizard, garnered praise from Tony Hillerman, Jonathan Kellerman, Clive Cussler, Publisher’s Weekly, and the Library Journal. 

These days, she’s excited about a new southwest mystery series that’s in the works with Wolfpack Publishing.  She enjoys hanging out with friends, family, road trips, conversations with her hound Hank, and falling under the spell of nature’s great mysteries and wonder.
