L.J. Martin
L. J. Martin is the author of 70 young adult, classic western, historical and thriller novels with a half-dozen non-fiction works among the mix. His first novel was a Y.A. and is still in print. As the father of four boys he was adamant about them filling their days with good books, books that taught values and how great the American experience is and was.
He lives in Montana on a small ranch and winters in Prescott, Arizona, both homes in western areas steeped in history. Having wrangled, packed mules, farmed and ranched, sailed his own ketch, and studied history all his life, he’s particularly suited to writing about what he loves, the west. He’s lived among and studied its critters, ranchers, miners, soldiers, mariners, river men and townsmen and women, and their history.
His most recent historical endeavor was writing/directing/producing the classic western film EYE FOR EYE, adapted from his novella of the same name. Please visit his webpage http://www.ljmartin.com.
