In 1850s Texas, three restless boys make one reckless mistake and find themselves fugitives. When a desperate decision near the Galveston docks leads them to help two runaway slaves, the stakes skyrocket. 

Across the ocean, in the cold and damp slums of Saint Guiles in London, five homeless teenagers are snatched off the streets by grimes who impress young vagrants into the Queen’s Royal Navy—innocent children indentured by wicked men.

When fate throws all ten orphans together aboard a ship bound for lawless waters, their only path to freedom is a treacherous one: piracy. From cannon blasts to double-crosses, they must navigate the high seas…where loyalty is tested and every port hides a trap.

Will these makeshift mates rise as legends of the sea—or be swallowed by the very violence they sought to escape?
