We were lucky enough this week to hear that Sorboni Banerjee and Dominique Richardson’s Red As Blood, the 1st book in the “Everbeach” YA mystery series, has been selected as a 2024 Independent Press Award Winner in Young Adult Fiction. Not only that, but Jerri Chisholm’s The Sordid Selection, the first book in the “Pretty Little Robots” series was also selected as a 2024 Independent Press Award Distinguished Favorite in the category of Young Adult Fiction.
The competition is judged by experts from different aspects of the book industry, including publishers, writes, editors, book cover designers, and professional copywriters. Selected Distinguished Favorites are based on overall excellence.
